Only the latest Edelbrock are like that all earlier versions are more like the Navarro. I try to get the valve at .040 clearance to the cyl head. 55 plus years building these gems.

I can get you the name of the sealer I used on the original 28 Miller OHV head. It has been driven for close to a year with no issues so far and it was throwaway.

On top of frame rail near where steering box/gear bolts to frame. Also under body on same left frame rail one near center and the other back where spring crossmember rivets on. All on top of left...

You can even use an extended tip plug in the new Edelbrock even with .400 valve lift and heads cut for .045” squish.

Been running stock type fuel pump on my stock 36 for 53 years with zero issues. Don’t know why you would want that junk.

Interesting. So it is not a 505 master that is for sale but a single lobe from a cam that has been ground to the 505 spec. As seller states cam is not a flathead.

It’s unfortunate but I scrap heads intakes exhaust manifolds unrepairable blocks and more. Can’t keep it all and the value is so little it’s not worth storing as that costs also.

Did you replace the shoes ? If you did replace them did you re-arc them to the drums ? Same if you turned drums. Your lower eccentrics are not adjusted correctly I believe if above is all good.
