Engine repair/rebuild for 1941 Ford with Flathead
Any recommendations on a place to take my 41 Ford Super Deluxe convertible with a flat head? It needs to have seals replaced at a minimum and want someone who can tell what it needs so I can get it...

Thanks for all the great advice! I think I'm going to attempt to sort out the bypass filter first and go from there. I'll let you know how that worked (or be back for advice on that bypass filter)....

I'm 46 and just learning....I'm capable doing some work myself, but probably not this. There is no Flathead expert I'm aware of in my area (La Crosse, Wisconsin). I have no idea what a rope seal...
