Bear/Marquette Engine Analyzer

I purchased a model 40-187 Bear engine analyzer, which is similar to the Marquette. I am looking for the operation manual, or at least someone who could tell me where to place the leads.

I am no wizard on coils, however I found that I needed an external 1.5 ohm on my 12 volt neg ground 1.5 ohm coil or it got very hot if the key was left on when engine was off. I used a bypass type...

I purchased a Bear engine analyzer, similar to a Marquette 42-175. Can anyone help me with how to hook up the Red, Blue and White leads. I have searched the forums, not luck.

Thanks Joe, I will be watching. Yes I have been watching ebay, there are a couple of rebuilts, but I prefer to rebuild it and there have been no fans with hubs.

NO, the pan will need to be taken off. For 36 Tbird, I had to remove the pan. The seal would not go into the lip without pulling the oil pan bolts and prying the pan down, big pain as I had to redo...
