Sears sold a pickup kit for the Model A. My Uncle converted a 36 coupe to a pickup. Neato. Wish I could have owned it.

I made a 2''x3' 3/4 panel wrapped in a soft cloth and tacked it. After the folks are in the rumble, the panel can be eased to the floor.
On a tour one time, a little purple- haired queeny look...

I had good luck with Corn head grease( the green stuff) from Tractor Supply Co. Used in the steering box and the universal joint.

I had mirrors on both chromned covered spares. Then convex stick ons one each tire. Worked pretty well. I had a non standard center m1rrror with a clock. It was wider the little oval Henry offered.

If you are building a fine point car, very early AR parts are hard to come, by as are late '31 changes. Later model A's have less wood in their bodies. 30/31 have several improvements of the 28/29...

My 39 Pickup had an aftermarket heater installed. Some fellow went nutso over it as he had never seen such a small version of a known model. The cowl handle just missed the round heater.
