If the engine runs you can use the spark adjusting lever to figure out the timing. With the engine idling move the lever up all the way. The engine should slow down. Now slowly pull the lever down....

Thumbs up Thermocure

I have used Thermocure on several radiators and it worked well for me. After the system is clean I use a rust inhibitor to keep the rust from coming back. I use Napa 1300.

Fan catastrophe avoided

This fan was loose on the water pump shaft and was making lots of noise.

We removed the fan to figure out what was causing the noise and that prevented a disaster.
