Here is the baffle that fits into the round opening of the 35-36 intake, as you also see the round tube for the fuel pump push rod tube fits down the center of the baffle

I "believe" that the one in Petehoovie's post is a 1934 "Service" replacement intake with the diamond shape fuel pump/oil fill stand opening?? The 35 and 36 intake stand openings should be round as...

Here is a "basic" picture difference. First two are 36, last two are Mid/Late 35. Remember the Gen mount stud is mounted high on the gen mount face. 37 and later are mid/lower mounted studs!!

It seems to me I read in another post here on the barn that they need to be like 24" away (Down stream) from the exhaust port of the engine???

Re: cleaning intake
I take mine to my engine machine shop and he runs it in his hot tank and cleaner for me!!!! THEN I use tub-o-towels to wipe mine clean before I clean it with denatured alcohol and then I paint it...

Perhaps the same as on the front of this 33 Rhineland. BY the way.... German 35's were advertised in the brochure as having 17" rims.

Anyone have one they can measure?
Anyone happen to have a this tube OR a stand off a motor that can measure it for me? Diameter, length etc?? I am missing this for a motor build and can snag a piece of tubing from a customer IF...
