Unstamped block
A friend of mine just purchased a 1931 CCPU that has no # on the engine block. I did a search here and didn't come up with much information.

Terry, The one I was looking at was sold last night on ebay. It sold for 5,450.00 just for the cab. Too rich for my wallet . It also had a dished out drivers door to allow clearance for spare tire....

I use John Deere corn head grease and pack it til it comes out of speedo gear bolt. All from info I picked up here on the ford barn.

Split windshield?
Was there ever a factory split windshield on a model A? I'm looking at pictures of what the owner claims to be factory split. It dont really make sense on a flat windshield.:confused:

1929 Sport Coupe belt rail.
I am installing new belt rail wood on my 29 sport coupe. Does it bolt directly to the car or should there be some kind of seal used between the wood and metal first?
Like that "Dum-Dum" stuff I read...

Yep, Works great for that. I just did the same thing on my 89 F-350. I used it for launching the boat in the bay so as you can imagine, It had a lot of flaky rust on the frame. Knocked it all off...

I just used mine a few weeks ago to remove heavily rusted floor panels. After grinding away the rivets to remove the panel, it cleaned up the cross rails real good. There was a lot of flaky rust on...
