Re: Frustration aligning doors in a Fordor Body

Is that a gap between the center door post and the roof structure? I am not familiar with Fordor cars but it looks like the gap at the tops of the doors would be within reason if the gap at the top...

Re: 1931 Canadian Standard Roadster

Thanks. I did find that book at the CMAFF site. I think the part in question is AC-42179-E Top Deck Assembly. I am hoping that that part # will show up in the US Body Parts Book as well but I have my...

Re: Source for Roadster top hold down straps

Tried Classtique (I bought my top from them) but Mike said they don't supply the straps. He referred me to Snyder's but I had tried them along with several other Model A parts suppliers and they wre...

Re: Source for Roadster top hold down straps

Thanks everyone for the info and suggestions. Sounds like buying the hardware and having them made or getting them at Restoration Supply is the way to go.

Re: Source for Roadster top hold down straps

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll have to go that route. Are the hooks to fasten to the top rests above the rumble seat a common hardware item and where can they be purchased? Are the Footman loops the...
