what position is the key (horizontal or vertical) when the tunk is locked?

Just bought a 40 Ford sedan project with no keys. Does one key fit all locks, ignition, doors, trunk, glovebox?

If my 40 Ford door is locked from the ouside with a key can I open it from the inside with the handle or are they 2 seperate locks?

Will any other year Ford hood fit my 40 Deluxe 4 door without changing anything (grille, etc). I keep gettring mixed info. I do not want to change anything but need to replace my hood. Thanks
