I have mine operating on 12 volt, it it just momentary unless you hold the clutch down to the floor. I use a starter button mounted under the carpet. The button is activated when the pedal is pushed...

I have a similar problem. John in Temecula Ca. does not have any new or NOS solenoids, He only carries rebuild kit's( 2 gasket and 2 sealing washers). My shift problem is that my solenoid...

Thanks Ron, but the stamping is F5 and T3, I did a little research and found that Weber used the letter F in their number designation, F1 thru F7

Trying to ID the cam in my 221, It has F5 and T3 stamped in the dist drive, Does anybody have information, Its seem pretty lumpy.

columbia solenoid body

Help , anybody have a good elec. shift body for a columbia, mine has a major dent in the low side seal surface. Tried to polish it out with valve lapping compound, no wayno. :(

I will buy new wires, also I will use 90's 0n the rotor cap ends the make it easier to install.

I am installing a radio in my 32, 221 flathead, converted to 12volt what is the best plug and wire combo? Is there a filter that can be installed on the 12 volt supply

as for hub retainer's I like the safety hub style. simple design and piece of mind knowing that if you do break an axle your not going to lose it.

tried a echlin ( napa) VT-6184 12-6 volt reducer, 12.2 volt in 12.2 volts out. does a volt reducer actualy drop voltage or just adjust ohm's.

Can you run a 42-48 shift solenoid on 12 volt, being that it is a momentary connection.:confused:
