nkaminar, I bought some of this grease at your suggestion. Great stuff. I use it on carburetor throttle shafts to help prevent leakage.

We just install one of Randy's F-100 steering boxes in a '29 PU for a lady in our club. Randy makes his own light switch rods for the different length columns. I'm not sure how the switch attaches to...

If you have to replace the shut off valve, ensure you get the new and improved one with a ball valve. Much better design..Snyder's has them....

Good going. I am sure you were close but it wouldn't hurt to still check your timing if the point gap was not the same between the two distributors.

I wonder why Ford used different style on drain plugs on the transmission and differential? Innie on the diff, outie on the trans?? :rolleyes:

The plug you link to from Snyder's states in the description "The original style. Can be used to fill and drain. This style of oil plug is 1/2" pipe thread."

Pipe thread is tapered thread.

Does your oil look foamy at all? Air in the oil will increase the level.

I was having an issue with 600W foaming in my transmission. I switched to Lucas 85w-150. Problem solved.

I have been using the "new" LED's for ~ 2 years now. Not exactly new... I especially like that they don't use the reflector because I use the original parking light with amber bulbs for my front turn...

Gene, a little more info in the Balancer.

My thought when I got it was newer engines mostly had Harmonic Balancers. I figured the manufacturers would install if they felt it was not a good...
