I do plan on substituting with socket head cap screws with hardened washers

Here’s my center main cap assembly
When you remove the main cap look for a shim it could be stuck to the block or the underside of the cap real easy to lose

They take a 1/2” or 5/8” square socket, I can’t remember which right now
The heads of those bolts are down in a hole in the lifter valley that will be filled with crud you will have to clean it out...

I have seen recently were the model T had a‘vaporizer’ manifold and carburetor that had a tube that ran thru the exhaust

Spring shackle should be at a 45 degree angle and that would raise your frame and brake rods for proper clearance

I do see what you are talking about on the front of the drag link,am not familiar with the mechanical brakes but do see your spring shackel is bottomed out

I don’t know alot about stock model A’s because I’m building a speedster from parts but I think you just need to turn the pitman arm around , the ball should face outward
