Don't throw any parts away until you are sure you can get the replacement parts replacement parts are very scarce on the double A4 speed.

That light amount of tan on the center electrode is the correct color for a good mixture.The reason you're seeing a lot of white is because you only have 100 miles on them. It appears to be burning...

I've had the same issue before the pin on the fork that pushes the throw out bearing sheared in my case the fork moved the throw out bearing moved but not enough to disengage if a spring came loose...

Theoretically that model B. oil pump shaft should be worth a slight horsepower increase in a model A. due to the less pumping restrictions!!!

Correct fuel mixture the exhaust valves will have a tan color like yours to me it looks like it's running very good little bit of carbon just means there's some time on the motor.

With a vacuum reading of 20 that's excellent but 3 turns out on your mixture screw tells me you must be compensating for a vacuum leak.

1 of the few benefits to our modern gas that is lead free is that your spark plugs will last almost indefinitely and you have minimal carbon build up!!!

I would replace the gear if you think that gear is a cast blank and not machined the concentricity won't be correct you don't wanna find this out once you get the engine assembled and running!
