I spun the stainless cover right off my gas cap one day. Covered the remaining bit with a red rag and removed it with a vise grip chain wrench. worked like a champ and did no damage.

Haha! No worries there, she is parked! I thought about disconnecting the left front brake rod and taking it around the block just to be sure it was that, but I don't know how bad the lower eyelet is....

Well, I found the problem. The top eyelet on the driver's side of the front wishbone broke and opened up. Rust in the face of the crack suggests it's been cracked a...
