Slightly different situation but, the same company made the product. I have a Powermaster starter on my Nissan pickup that has a Chev v-8 in it. Huge difference over the stock starter, spins much faster, even when hot. Well worth the cost to me.

I own 4 of them 2 on flatheads, 1 SBC, 1 Ford Turbo Diesel. Really made a difference on the Turbo Diesel.

I've used the Powermaster starter on my last 4 FHs and they have worked great.

What voltage are you running, 6 or 12? I am assuming it's 12 volt. I would save the money and just run an original ford starter. It will spin fast on 12v. I have never had any problems with that set up.

It is a gear drive positive shift type starter so not only do you get a lot more torque for starting in cold weather, you NEVER have to worry about breaking a bendix spring or bolts.
They are smaller and lighter than a stock one also.
