While the 1934 and 1935 Covers appear the same, they are different.

Besides the stainless being wider on the 33,34 the attachment hdwe uses threaded stud plates. The 35 have twist clips.

1934 and 1935 Ford Spare Wheel Covers compared.
The most obvious difference is the width of the stainless ring, but that is only the start.
If you look at the picture of the underside, you can see that the stainless ring is held in place by a small threaded bolt on the 33/34 cover.
On the 35 cover - right, the hole is smaller and the stainless ring is held in place by little clips.
Apart from the size of the hole to support this Stainless ring, the actual covers are also different.
The inner edge of the 33/34 cover is rolled and very substantial.
However, the inner edge of the 35 cover is not rolled and easy to get out of shape, as you can on this example.

A bit of topic lf your interested !I body worked my Chrome trim for my 35 in the day by making a T shaped bit of flat steel welded to a 1/4 round rod . I shaped the flat bit to slide in with a curve the same shape as the chrome .while holding the Anvil in the vice I fed the chrome around it tapping the low spots face with a body hammer. it was near flat in some places .I would spray it black from time to time then block sand it with 600 grit working my way down to a finer grit, then buffed it.
