40 ford vs 40 merc window regulator question. 2 dr . anyone know if or has a part number list to know if 40 ford and 40 mercs (2dr coupes) use the same window regulators. they look the same (well looking at pictures on the internet) but trying to find out for sure.

While all coupes had two doors, there is no tudor coupe!. Ford had tudor sedans, business coupes and coupes both standard and deluxe. Mercury only had the sedan coupe. Tudor sedans were in both the Ford and Mercury lineup.
01A- prefix = Ford. 09A- prefix = Mercury. The first two letters of the part number correspond to the number of the body style. Ford coupe regulators and Fordor front door regulators were the same and use the fordor body number. See Photos: Clear as used motor oil? |

lol, yes, I know, it was a data entry error , I initially typed 2dr, but then thought i should clarify coupe and overlooked removing the 2 dr part :D |
