Is this a Model A handle? 1 Attachment(s)
This handle is stainless clad, handle part appears identical to coupe, tudor handle, the part that fits against the door is flat not curved like a coupe handle, the shaft is 1/2" longer that coupe handle, and no original model a key will go into the lock cylinder. It has a matching pair of keys(not briggs) and the handle and keys appear to be N.O.S. Also the lock cylinder is not removable.

Re: Is this a Model A handle? Please put up picture of cylinder
I think it is a Crown handle |
Re: Is this a Model A handle? Would this be a 1928-29 locking door handle ? The escutcheon would be flat. I don't know about the length. I don't believe that the lock cylinders are removable in '28-'29 models.

Re: Is this a Model A handle? Tx for responses. A little more info: A crown key will not fit cylinder, by cylinder being nonremovable I meant it is not a late 31 cylinder, I ruled out 28-29 because it is stainless clad. chucker
