Spin-on oil filter bracket fabricator???
 

Is there a Ford Barner out there who could fabricate a bracket (see photo below..I would need the black bracket with 3 holes that connects to the head at the bottom and holds the spin on oil filter adapter assembly at the top). I would most definitely pay for your labor and materials!!
Looks like these conversion kits are no longer available…

Steve, I’d like to discourage you from that installation for the reason that an original type of bypass filter is constructed without concern for needed pressure and volume as a full flow system requires today. That means that a modern spin on filter allows larger particulates to pass, and has a built in pressure relief, both features ensuring the pressure and volume required by a bypass system. This system, of course, would be preferable if you have converted to the 95% full flow, but not for the original system.

I believe this is designed for the original 8BA bypass oiling system and as such uses a filter matched to the original flow rate of the canister design.

This should be fairly easy to fabricate using a Baldwin B50 filter and compatable remote filter mount. This filter has a 1/16" internal orifice that limits flow and is intended for bypass applications. I have one mounted on my firewall.
