easy engine stand bracket
 

there are lots of ideas out there and this has most likely been done before. its cheep and easy.

-1 1/2' angle iron drilled to match the oil pan bolts (left side) and two holes drilled for the arms..

the picture shows it on the bottom of the pan flange but it accually goes on the top of the flange so the pan can be bolted on.

i don't synch the pan flange bolts to tight because the flange is angled and i don't want to chance cracking them.

the other two arms simply bolt to the water inlet bolt holes.

Excellent idea , will have to make on up for my stand. Sort of replicating the KR Wilson holding method , front and back of engine is open to work on . Thank again for posting.
