I have a 1950 ford f1. is it possible to put a 1936 steering wheel on it w/out to many cuss words?

No, the steering shaft ends changed from a tapper to a spline.

I think there are reproductions that will work, just not an original.

Cut and weld a new end on the steering shaft. I've turnd down one shaft and bored ot the other to make a slip fit and drill hole to plug weld one end while welding the circumference of the other. I suppose you could cut opposing notches to make a positive lock fit and then weld. Make sure the shaft is set so it puts the steering wheel at the top when wheels are straight ahead.
