pain in the but job on the 33 today Any one who does a heap of miles in their old Fords and need to grease the U/J cavity will know what a job it is, getting the grease gun onto the nipple amongst all the brake rods, speedo cable and stuff, not to mention the split pins on the brake clevace pins, Ouch.
So today I made up a 3/16 id braided hose and little mount and now its just inside the l/h engine bay and as easy as to do. I have been meaning to do this for ages . Lawrie |
Re: pain in the but job on the 33 today A lot of big trucks are set up that way, just open the hood and all your grease zircs are in one handy location. Only thing extra is the driveline. Which you seem to have taken care of. The only issue I’ve seen with it is to use the wrong kind of grease and it gets hard and then it won’t flow through the lines.

Great idea Lawrie. That's one reason I drilled and tapped clamshell and floorboard for an extended U-joint lube fitting on top of the clam shell. No more crawling under the car.
