Strange brake drums

I had a rear end a few years ago that had the strangest rear drums. It was a 35 or 36. I could not tell witch. The drums had both wheel stud pattern studs. They were swedged in. The drums were open design and I could see the internals. You could mount either 5.5 wheels or wide five ones.
Maybe aftermarket?

Where did your avatar go, Andy? Maybe you need a new one with a little different flair, for instance: DD

There are 36 rear drums that are two piece. The hub bolts onto the drum using 5 bolts on [probably] 5 1/2" bolt pattern. They are however the large bolt pattern drums as used 36-39

Andy, I have seen those unusual drum/hub combinations you are referring to, and may even have a couple of them in my stash of stuff. It almost looks like 'Ol Henry, or his part supplier, salvaged some '35 hubs, and made them into drum/hub assemblies that could be used in '36 as wide fives.

I found this one pic on the hamb. Might have been rear only?? Fronts also have windows but are one piece (or at least one bolt pattern).

The rear drums are the only ones I've seen made like this, although I do have both front and rear open type "Rockey Mountain" '35 drums.
