head wedges

Hello,

I just popped the head up a little bit but need wedges to finish the job. Where should I go or should I make some from hard wood?

Yes, make them from h/wood. Take your time and don’t pinch your fingers. As soon as you get it a little up, slide some blocks under it. It can flatten your fingers

Remember not to drive the wedges into the valves.

Yep have pinched the fingers the last time. Well off to buy some oak or something similar tomorrow.
