1932/33 Chassis Differences? Hello chaps,
Searching for some information detail here. The 1932 chassis frame rails had the well known swage line and the central K-member. What changes were made for the 1933 model? Swage line? K-member? Anything else? A diagram of the 1933 chassis frame would be great. Hoping ... Neil. |
Re: 1932/33 Chassis Differences? Just a few I know of, the 33 had no swage line, had a longer wheelbase and had an X inner frame instead of a K member.
You can go to Wescott's web page and see a blue print diagram of both frames.http://www.wescottsauto.com/ |
Re: 1932/33 Chassis Differences? American Ford or British Ford?

Re: 1932/33 Chassis Differences? Excluding the powertrain, except for the brake drums, backing plates, and some other brake system and suspension parts, and there are no carryover '32 chassis parts employed in a '33 chassis. This assumes your question pertains to the 112" wheelbase '33 chassis and not the 106" wheelbase '33 Model 14 chassis.
