Flathead Info.

I know I know this question has been asked many many times. But here goes.
This flathead came out of a 48 Woody. I have no additional info. as the owner passed away. On the top of the bell housing close to where the trans bolts is stamped the#4. Then up towards the manifold is a circle stamped and inside the circle is stamped clock wise 1j604. Then to the right of that circle id stamped X 7. Trying to attach pictures , but not have much luck.

Re: Flathead Info.

The numbers are virtually useless.
Better off showing several views of the complete engine to get some idea as to the vintage and application.
