also how does part 34Light rob felt seal go on? The seal I have only has like a .125" dia. hole in it?

ok So I got the column together and in I have not put the pitman arm on the sector shaft yet but I slide the steering wheel on and its very hard to turn. Any idea of what I have done wrong?

Do you have the square brass shims in the end plate? You may have to add a few to give it more clearance. You want the clearance to just be at zero without binding the bearings.

yes I have 2 brass shims and a gasket
