Canadian 1933 three window value

I'm going to look at a 1933 three window for sale that is a Canadian built car. It has been converted to hydraulic brakes, the battery has been moved to under the hood, it is also painted two tone red body and black fenders with a cream colored dash. Otherwise the car is seemingly restored all original and supposedly no rust, good running and driving. My question is mainly how does it being a Canadian built car affect its value to a U.S. Buyer? Or is the rarity of a mostly unmolested three window coupe not affected by where it's built?

Just my personal opinion but those are considered so desirable that I don't think where its built would matter. Which arm and leg are you prepared to give for it? ☺☺

The original difference between the two are in details, most of which are minor. If the original top material and upholstery material are long gone, which likely is the case given that it was restored, the most prominent remaining difference would be the absence of a U.S. patent plate on the firewall (unless it was restored with "Made in Canada" Champion spark plugs and script battery case.

If all was fair the world, it actually should be worth more than one built in the U.S. if one was striving for uniqueness of originality as body-colored fenders, etc. were an extra cost option on Canadian '33s whereas that paint treatment option was not available on the U.S.-built versions.

If the battery is under the hood and they hacked up the firewall to make the installation, it definitely devalues the car. It would be costly to put it back to original. That alone would be an indication to check closely for other questionable work done to the car.

My '33 two door had all the steering box holes in the frame that would be needed for export to right hand drive countries. Dad bought it in '41, I got it in '55 when I was 13. ..B.

Thanks for the replies. I was fairly certain that it did not significantly impact the value negatively. I am however, not a very educated buyer and wanted to know about the canadian built cars. I know that each cars value is basically what a buyer and seller agree upon and the best you can do is sit back and watch the general trend.
