1940 ford rearend question
 

I need a rear end for a 40 ford coupe roller. What rear ends will work size wize that I can just put under the car and still have 40 wheel bolt on? Thanks Ford Barn!

The WMS to WMS of a stock 40 Ford rear is 59.5 inches.

36 to 39 would need a drum change as they are the wide bolt pattern.

hi all; Just a note on the Bronco rears. The backing plates are indexed [rotated] for a high pinion angle and when you set up a flatter pinon angle ,it leave the wheel cylinders on an angle and trickier to then bled the air out. Newc
