Autolite 3077

I've been running these plugs in my A Models for years. Finally used up my supply. Went to buy new ones...and quess what? They don' t make them anymore... Find something you like and it works for you and the manufactures quit making them. What plugs are you guys and gals using? I want a plug that is a little hot. Thanks....Nick

Try out a Champion W-20.

Well thats not a good thing to hear. I've been running 3077s for years. They're nice and warm for an old tired engine. Darn.

You can get 3076 off the shelf from O'Reilly auto parts, I just purchased some for my "A". Maybe they can order the 3077 for you.

And here I thought Nick said they stopped making them.

The TT10 and 3076 are cooler plugs. I think the TT15 is a little hotter and maybe better for touring.

TT15 is a lot hotter (the same as Champion W89D which is hotter than a W-20)

Also, unless "touring" by your definition means driving slow all the time there may not be a need for a hotter plug.

Re: Autolite 3077

"Touring" for me is generally running between 40 and 45 mph. If just two or three of us are running together, we will run 50+ mph. I like the hotter plug. Seems to work well with my motor which is not totally stock.
