valve insert and cutter

Hi all; Can anyone tell me the OD of the standard valve seat insert and the recommended cutter size for it. Thanks in advance, Craig.

original Ford--
40-6057-c 1.6530 --1.6535 od
40-6057-d 1.6330-1.6335 od

I would suggest measuring any seats you get before cutting the hole to fit them into

For the original seat ring the cutter blade measures a few 10ths over 1.625. However, it cuts a slightly larger diameter counterbore. The larger diameter seat ring was for salvaging blocks which had a loose ring.

I'd purchase new stellite seats first then measure them to find a cutter that will set you up with an interference fit. Just like cylinder bores, you would never want to fit a close tolerance part without the part you are going to put in there in hand.
