1946 ford pickup jack and storage does anyone have a pic of the correct jack and handle and where it was stored,unlike the 48 and up there is no room behind seat. on the 42-47 pu

Re: 1946 ford pickup jack and storage I don't have the correct jack, haven't found one yet. I store the one I'll use, if need be, under the seat on the passenger side at the end of the gas tank. I suspect that is where the original went along with the crank handle/lug wrench and crank extension.

I realize that it would be 5 times as big for each tool, but very useful. Likely in the pile of 60+ jacks out at the farm I have some for various years, but can't find the info and hate to post pic's of that much stuff to ID. Just a thought. Rod |
