- I got my first Model A for my 14th birthday. It was a 1931 rumble seat coupe. Dad paid $200 for it. We owned / bought / sold and restored many Model A Fords since. We lost dad 3 years ago at age 88. He was born on December 3, 1928. I am currently finishing a 1928 AR Phaeton for my sister. I do not currently own a finished Model A but I have a 1931 Victoria and a 1931 Sport Coupe waiting their turn.
