- I had to retire three years ago when I came a whiskers width of cashing it in with a BAD abdominal condition. My strength and endurance are greatly diminished, but I'm still able to tinker with my 23 T coupe, 50 Woody, Triumph Spitfire, John Deere M, etc. Life is actually pretty darn good. I also love to make sawdust, so as much as I am able, I make every day count, because three years ago there was a day when, in moments, I went from being a healthy 50 year old to spending a month in a coma on total life support and very little certainty I'd ever return to any kind of life at all. Count your blessings, my friends, and take NOTHING for granted. We're only here for a visit.
