- Biography
- As a kid growing up in the sixties I spent many hours building plastic car models. My passion for Ford Hot Rods was gained from the many hours spent modifying those old plastic kits. In the very early seventies I purchased a 1932 Ford roadster it was actually just a body held on top of the frame with 2 x 4 wood there was no floor or sub rails. At the time I had no idea what a sub rail was. So as time went on I built that roadster teaching myself how to weld and make parts I still have that roadster today.
My wife and I have driven the roadster all over the place including two cross country trips to California we continue doing a lot with our roadster.
Besides a few deuces we also have a Land Speed Race car which we built ourselves. It's a Rear Engine Modified Roadster powered by a flathead V-8. At Speedweek on the Salt Flats in 2016 I set the gas blown flathead record at 192.448 MPH In 2017 with Ardun heads we have the record at 225.003. we machine and build the engines in hou
