- I am originally from Baltimore, MD. My dad had a Model A but I never saw it. He taught mom how to drive on it and being the prankster that he was, he would shut off the gas when she was driving it. I retired from Verizon in 2003. I am a private pilot and love aircraft. My other hobbies are vacuum tube equipment, vintage cars and military vehicles. I have an M715 Kaiser Jeep army truck which is in Florida already. That truck is still in the process of restoration and has a long way to go. It has tags and I drive it. I also have a 1965 Corvair Monza Coupe which is restored and driven as often as possible.
