I have a edmunds dual carb intake I would like to run on my 21 stud. Does any one sell a longer rod? Can I mig weld an extension or should I braze it?

I use leather in the fuel pump cup. Charles

Many of the Early Ford V8 parts suppliers will carry the different length fuel pump push rods.

Depends how long you need it. There are 7 7/8" and 8 7/8" stock and some shorter ones below the 7" one. ken ct.

I welded one several years ago when I was a kid ,just used a stick welder and then ground the weld .

Measure the back of both manifolds, it's probaly one inch differance. If you need the long one 8-7/8 about all the part places have them Mac's ect. Walt

Some of the stock fuel pump push rods were three pieces, a center tube and two different length ends, I made a longer one by taking the shorter end out and stealing the long end from another rod... Put it together and cut to size. I do not remember what the possible length of this combo is...
