Victoria carpets
I just received my new carpet set from Lebaron Bonney and im a little perplexed as to how to install them. Do they just fit loosely or are they suppose to attach some how to the pan. should there be some insulation between the pan and carpet?

Re: Victoria carpets
Originals were held in place with a ring on back of carpet that fit onto the mat/carpet studs with no padding in between.

Re: Victoria carpets
My Victoria has several original snaps. "male", in the bottom of the pan. You will probably have to add the "female" portion to the carpet since LB normally sends them so you can add them where/or if needed.

Additionally, there were studs screwed into the wood to snap the carpet around the perimeter. The carper should fit like a skin over the entire rear floor.

Re: Victoria carpets
Attached hopefully is a photo of the carpet snaps from an un-restored Victoria. I can't seem to downsize except as a pdf. If you need addtional photos of how the carpets are supposed to look, send me an e-mail: [email protected]
