I have just recently bought a old F350 with a 360 in it. I hope some of you can assist me.

I need to know if the distributor from a 77 385 series 460 will fit a 1968 360 f350 and if it will how do I hook up the electronic unit? The points are fried too baddly to file again and I have a doner 460 The truck has been parked for about 12 years I know the fellow I bought it from and he just backed it in to where it is sitting shut the key off and walked away it turns over fine. Thanks
