Default Water pump

For a 1950 Ford V8 to remove the drivers side water pump does the radiator need to be removed?
Thanks

No. Place a 2x6 under front of oil pan and support engine using a jack. You should be able to literally twist and pull the hose off the water pump and radiator. Don't forget about the hidden bolt inside the water pump. Use anti-seize on re install.
