Crank Pulley fixed
Hi guys, I'm following up on my post from about 6 weeks ago. I'm delighted yo say the new 2 pc. (screw in type) crankshaft pulley & oil slinger is installed and no leaks yet.
I tested it over the course of a few weeks with some hard pulls on a few long steep hills and all is dry, so far, after about 100 miles. Thanx to all who offered advice on the correct orientation of the "new type" front seal and the new oil slinger, I followed the "leakless oil pan" instructions exactly, and so far so good. I'll update my results if there are any changes after more time and miles on the road, the winter weather has my Tudor garage bound for now. Thanx again to all who took the time reply!! |
