55/56 upper air deflector

'55,56 Ford full size car radiator upper air deflector. This part was factory installed on all cars with the 182 hp Y-block engine in 1955 and all cars with Y-block engines in 1956. It was not used on cars with 6 cyl engines and '55 cars with the 162 hp Y-block. The purpose of this part is to block air from passing over the lower deflector, thus forcing all the air through the radiator for additional cooling. This part was stripped to bare metal, primed and painted with gloss black enamel and has new rubber seal. The metal piece does have some pitted areas that were not filled in with primer, thus it is not perfect, but could easily be show quality with some re-finishing work.
