New Radiators
I need to get a new radiator for my 1929 A. Who sells a decent one at a decent price? My car is a driver, it does not have to be 100% like the original. (Needs to fit perfectly and look original to the untrained eye however)
Thank you. |

Re: New Radiators
I recomend spending the money and get a good quality one from Brassworks or Berg's. A cheap one will just make you mad, and perhaps damage the engine. The cheap ones also do not always fit well.

Re: New Radiators
I bought a Brassworks for my '29. Perfect fit, no issues at all after 2000 miles. A tad under $600. I recommend them.

Any black radiator looks original to the "untrained" eye.

Re: New Radiators
The Berg's radiator that I bought for my '28 roadster three years ago fit like a glove and felt as heavy as the original. It looks just like the one it replaced. The engine never overheats.

Re: New Radiators
I got a new (recored) radiator for my '31 from Bert's. It fit perfectly first try and works great! I would highly recommend one.

Re: New Radiators
you can't go wrong with either of the two above. Yes you get what you pay for! If you go cheap you will pay the price later. Wayne

Re: New Radiators
Brassworks. They know their stuff, you pay the right price for a perfect working radiator for either a DRIVER or a SHOW car.

Re: New Radiators
Brassworks on my 29 and don't forget they have the hood clips on them so you don't have to buy the hood prop kits extra for the 28/29s.
