Default Are These Model T Latches? See Pictures

Any idea what year there from?

These were in a big box of mid to late 30's Ford parts that I recently purchased, they look older than mid 30's so I'm asking in the Model T forum first.

Part number 9647A-2

Mark, those were used on a variety of mid price range cars. Several different bases were used. I have a 9639-2 with the same base as yours but half again as long. A similar one was used on White trucks in 1923. A different base was used. Probably several years earlier and later. The 2 I mentioned are 2.81" and 2 3/8" long from pin center to top of the barrel. Also a nickel plated brass one with a smaller diameter barrel. Maybe a fancier car and a different manufacturer. It has kind of a swivel base. I hope we find out more.
