Default Removing Overspray From Tires

I'm working on the new truck and the previous owner painted the wheels and very wisely masked the tires. However, the mask was a bit too small and the tires have red overspray on them. Are there any easy way to remove this. I'm not sure of the type of paint, but I hesitate to use too much physical force and leave heavy scratches on the rubber...

Lacquer thinner has always worked well for me.
Getting next to the rim might need some cloth stretched over a screw driver or a thin pc of wood .

I would try WD-40 , it works well for over spray on my glasses when I forget to put on an old pair , also used it on other things for over spray .

Use ACRYLIC lacquer thinner. Simple lacquer thinner won't touch some of the harder paints, such as epoxies or paints sprayed with a catalyst.

Take it to a coin operated car wash and pressure wash them from a short distance away. Wayne

Just use some cheap flat black spray paint to cover the overspray. It will flake off later, taking the overspray with it.

I just tell the wife to get that off there. I don't know what she uses, but it is very clean.
