Re: New website
The Lobsters and Lighthouses Tour was a lot of fun. It was the 1st long-distance tour my wife and I took with our "A" since buying it 3 years ago. I was amazed that several folks drove their "A"s all the way from California to Maine to attend. We also met a very nice couple who had come from Australia. We're presently getting our Roadster ready for next season.

Re: New website
To Mitch/PA:
We are all CAPE in the group picture - even though only a few are native Cape Codders, and the rest of us are known as WASHASHORES no matter how long we've lived here. To Synchro909: The Lobsters and Lighthouses tour was a MAFCA National Tour hosted by the PINETREE "A"s Club in Maine. It was a once and done event. However, both MAFCA and MARC run a national tour at a location that changes every year. This year, MARC's was at Niagara Falls, Canada. In June 2016, MAFCA will hold a national convention in Loveland, Colorado, hosted by the MODEL "A' FORD CLUB OF COLORADO. In June 2016, MARC will hold a national meet in Perrysburg OH, hosted by the SWEET SIXTEEN MODEL "A" RESTORERS CLUB. Then in September 2016, MARC's national tour will be held in Newburgh, New York, hosted by the HUDSON VALLEY MODEL "A' RESTORERS CLUB. I don't know of any "car loaner" program, but you might want to contact either MAFCA, MARC, or one of the hosting local clubs to ask about that possibility. Good luck! |

Mitch/PA
Now I get it. CAPE is my good buddy Joe. In the group picture, he's the guy with the big smile at the left edge of the banner, just to the right of the lady in the red jacket. |

Re: New website
Rich, Dog here,
Susplain' why are new folks called, "WASHASHORES"? Cain't they jist DRIVE there? You got ROADS, don't you??? Chief & Ol' Bill & his Momma used to float Chiefs' BLACK '29 Tudor across the Red River to Texas, on the Alben Brothers' Ol' HOMEMADE Ferry Boat. Chief went to School with them, at Mt. Zion School, with only 2 ROOMS & a BIG BELL on the PORCH! Ol' Bill went to the SAME School, later, & rode there on an OOOLD Horse named "SHORTY"! Wish I had been there for the FUN But that was BEFORE my time, whin he had a BLACK Dog, named BULGER & they rode in the back seat, with the LOOOONG side windows & Bulger matched the BLACK car, but he didn't have VERMILLION RED pinstriping Gotta' GO, Ol' Bill's COMING, with COWBOY COFFEE, called, "JET-FUEL"---Son, Mitch tole him about it Buster T.

Re: New website
Bill - Yes we do BUT.........have two bridges to get to the mainland. Bridges are of the 1934 & 1935 models but I can assure you that my 1930 Blindback is in better shape then the bridges.
