leaky fuel pump
I rebuilt the original fuel pump about a year ago and all works well. Problem occurs after it sits for extended periods, the pump leaks around the diaphragm a lot and I have to tighten the the screws down. I'm guessing that it is from the diaphragm drying out between uses, can't imagine the screws loosening that quickly. Should I apply locktite, silicone the diaphragm or something else?

Re: leaky fuel pump
You may have over tightened the screws and warped the pump housing.
