Waxing nostalgic we sometimes forget or omit the bad parts of life, but those times really were better in so very many ways. If only my time machine hadn't thrown a rod..........

Pretty cool.I was there from '59- mid 70's so some like Lakewood was familiar.Worked at Pep Boys across from Lakewood Shopping Center in '63.My dropped axle bone stock 28 roadster PU was my daily driver then.

Funny how things are. Seeing the Helms bakery truck, I can still smell the donuts when the guy pulled the drawer out.

I'm skeptical of the date on the swimming suit girls paper mache heads pic. Didn't they still bind up their breasts in 1930?

(I bet that'll get'cha to take another look!)
