This is the Laycock de Normanville Type-J Overdrive better know as the Volvo Overdrive. Came from a running car a few years ago, it's been sitting on my shelf ever since then. Everything turns free. This is the setup you need if you want a push button overdrive.

Jordan - I have one in my cabriolet. I like it alot. It has 27% Over Drive when electric switch is turned on. It will break if it is left on and you put the car in reverse, so you put a lock out switch on the transmission to prevent that. You can have OD in 1st, 2nd and 3rd if you want.

You can check it out at an up-coming gathering. I'm hoping to drive the car to the brake seminar this weekend, but need to work out a few small bugs.
