Ford Exposition: 1939
Photo taken on May 12, 1939. This is the Ford Motor Building at the New York World's Fair. Note the stainless sculpture of a V8-weilding Mercury. Glorious. To read the rest of this blog entry from The Ford Barn, click here. |

There isn't any 'rest of entry' on the page.

Re: Ford Exposition: 1939
I was 6 years old. About the only things that stick in my mind are. The doorman at the hotel with his red jacket and brass buttons. The Heinz pickle display and the little pickle lapel pin I received. A little tin key given to everyone that visited some display that was supposed to open a big box that looked like a treasure chest but mine didn't open it. I must be getting old, that's all I remember. G.M.
